Incessant Study

On a sunny cloudless day
under the bright sunshine, I see a pencil and eraser
there were 5 passages written on a paper
with ‘sixty-five’ and ‘fifty-two’ in numbers

When I turned a page
I again saw number; this time, ‘thirty-five’ and ‘forty-four’
Bunch of words were underlined
I stared at with a horror as if I was a blind
Unknown words and phrases were combined
My passion is undermined
My brain is twined

SAT is so… unkind
Never mind…
The test is in a month…

Ugh….

How did you (as a junior) feel after completing AP exams?

Of course, there was definitely this emotional freedom that surged through my brain as soon as the proctor called that time was up. This year, the only AP I took was AP English Language and Composition. I thought I had prepared myself diligently by going over past practice tests consisting of MCQ's, reviewing comments on my practice essays, and going over vocabulary as well. Unfortunately, I was not able to manage my time wisely and also found the multiple choice very difficult. Not only was I not able to finish some questions but I had no reassurance of whether the questions that I did answer were answered with accuracy. Nevertheless, I told myself shortly afterwards that "What's done is done and there's nothing I can do about it" Therefore, there was definitely this combination of relief, elation, and worry all packaged in one within me.

What is one thing you want to achieve in your life?

One thing I want to achieve in my life is to make 10 true friends. For me, true friends mean friends who I can rely on and talk about everything. For some people, this would be considered as easy, but for me it might be very hard because even though friends are easy to make, being a true friend is very hard. I do not know how long or when I will meet my true friend ,but every moment I make a new friend I will treat them with my great pleasure and appreciation.

Baseball makes me alive

My hobby is watching baseball and cheering my favorite baseball team. Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of nine players each, who take turns batting and fielding. I became interested in baseball when I was 14 years old. Though the rules of baseball was a bit complicated, as time went by I fell in love with that sport. These days, Im supporting DooSan Bears, which has won the victory on 2015 and 2016. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, there were some terrible cases that were done by our team. However, I still love baseball and truly support DooSan Bears. I believe that cheering players up in the baseball stadium is one of the most efficient ways to relieve stress.
