Favorites?

Favorite hobby?
“I like reading adventure books and watching movies with my mom. The most recent
movie I watched was Thor: Ragnarok, and I really enjoyed watching the movie because
of the humor. It brought a cheerful mood to me, and I was able to relax and have fun
while watching it.”

Favorite place?
“I recently converted my living room table into a desk. It’s in front of the fridge, and I
placed a chair on one end of the table. I study there, do homework there, and watch
movies and shows on the table. It’s a very special place to me because I have never had a
personal desk before, and it’s nice to have a place where I can study or relax.”

Favorite music?
“I enjoy listening to the 80’s music and songs from musicals. Currently, my favorite
musical is Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda.”

How’s your sophomore year so far?

“Overall my sophomore year was hectic, because for international track, we need lots of stuff to do such as SAT, GPA, extra curriculums, and etc. Also, just as the other schools, sophomores are in charge of various club activities. So far, I spent a busy year, but it was satisfying. I met a lot of friends than what I actually have thought, participated flag football competition, which was so fun – and I also have another one this Sunday!– received some awards in several competitions, and these days, I’m preparing a theater performance for ‘drama night’ held in December. I can surely say my sophomore year led me grow one step further for contribution to our society.”

What makes your high school life beautiful?

"I would have to say that ultimately, my friends are what make my high school life beautiful. This is because they are the ones who uplift me even when I am having a bad day and make me feel like I have people who I can count on when school treats me badly. Not only can I count on my friends when school treats me poorly but also when other people apart from my friends treat me poorly as well. "
